Historic Timeline
2005 - The idea of a badminton tournament was conceived as a joke
taken way too seriously
2006 - The Dodge
Cup was completed; made of solid oak and 24 ct. gold (or brass)
- The first tournament took place,
consisting of 12 teams, only 3 of which were in uniform
- The first championship game was
interrupted by by young children asking if they could play!
2009 - The largest attendance yet: the 16 team playoff had to be
expanded to a 32 team playoff
- The Daily Dodge was
started (below), but only lasted five months
2018 - This was the first year we had a different final match up
in the championship game. In fact, the young children who interruped the game in
2006 (see above) played in the championship!

The Daily Dodge was the tournament's newsletter, however, due to laziness on
